Cathy Craig

Cathy Craig, owner and founder of Michon & Craig Interiors, has always had a love for
making things beautiful.
She was inspired to enter the field of interior design through her father,
W.R. Craig, a well established builder and developer. Cathy attended Texas Tech University where
she graduated in 1974, with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design.
In 1976, Cathy
started working independently in a one room office where she started her first business, Art
Deco Interiors.
In the late 70's, she began designing many San Antonio Parade of Homes, where she
met many clients that to this day still enjoy her work. |

In the early 80's, she decided to design and build the Acropolis Building in San Antonio, Texas.
This is where she was able to expand her business and establish Michon & Craig Interiors, which is
successfully managed due to Cathy's vast organizational skills that emulate in her design projects.
With deep dedication to her craft, Cathy is able to make her interior visions a reality.
Cathy's talents range from designing a home or office from the ground up to picking
that perfect accessory. Decades of experience are evident in her elaborate draperies and her
artistic ability to create the perfect paint treatment. |

Cathy's creativity allows her to bring originality to the clients who have grown with her
over the years. Her work is not only limited to San Antonio and its surroundings; she has also
completed many jobs outside the state of Texas. Cathy has researched by traveling and learning
about many different styles of design around the world. She believes a theme is very important in
developing a mood for an interior. Also, in order to achieve a relaxing and pleasant home
environment, you must know your client and understand their style.
